On September 11th, 2001, al Qaeda brought terrorism to our shores on an unprecedented scale. The radical Islamic terrorist group killed nearly three thousand people in a multi-pronged surprise attack. Our nation has collectively said that we will never forget and that we will never again allow this to happen. In order to do that we must learn how our enemy accomplished this feat so we can prevent it in the future. In this study we look at the ways in which al Qaeda masks its activities.
